As you may have already noticed, the website looks a little different. There are a few reason for this, which will be discussed here for those that wish to know.
- First and foremost, we exist to glorify God in all that we do, and that includes maintaining a website that is seamless and without major issues. We want our website to be easy to use. This new website has a cleaner, more efficient layout. We believe this is very important for people when they're seeking information about a local church to start attending.
- CloverSites 3, the name officially given to the new layout, actually offers a more seamless integration of our website across multiple browsers. People have their own preferences when it comes to what browsers they use, and CloverSites 3 seems to prevent each browser from "doing it's own thing," so to speak. If anyone comes to our church website seeking information about Christ, being reformed, or our church specifically, we do not want browser issues to prevent them from doing so.
- Most of the support offered by CloverSites will now be geared toward the "CloverSites 3" system, meaning if we had chosen not to update our church website using the new system, finding the support we need might prove to be an issue for us.
- For some odd reason, when people would visit our website in Google Chrome from a desktop or laptop computer, it would automatically load the page as if they were using a mobile phone. The page would be display as if you were viewing it from an iPhone, Android Phone, or Windows Phone. Needless to say that's a problem. If you're using a laptop or desktop computer, the website should load in "desktop" mode, not "mobile" mode. The transition to CloverSites 3 seems to have resolved this issue.
As mentioned above, we exist to praise, love, and glorify God in every aspect of our finite human lives, so we want this website to be God-honoring as well. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the website content itself, or the new layout, please do not hesitate to send our pastor an email. His contact email can be found at the bottom of this page. There are also a few pages of our new website that are still under construction. Unfortunately, migrating all of our content is not a quick task. It takes time to re-upload the sermons and site content. Please bear with us as we get everything moved over.
